Hiiii! I’m Lara & happy that you’re here. :)

A lot of my early pet care experience comes from growing up in a home with many, many pets around. It was often the case that the animals were outnumbering the humans, especially when the extended family came together during summers and at Christmas time. My love of animals and wildlife has been greatly influenced by my grandparents. Many of my summers were spent in Clifden staying with Granny and Grandpa where we had a little pair of black binoculars that we’d sit with and spy by the window for foxes and badgers.

I've loved dog breeds from an English Mastiff to a Westie, always adored cats and, randomly, hamsters. Along the way I’ve had the joy of spending some of my years with my gorgeous Connemara pony (who now lives happily back in Connemara!).

Over the past few months I’ve been walking doggies, minding pets - mainly cats and dogs - & looking after homes for people who are away. Being an active gal with an interest for crafts mixed with being a bit of a bookworm allows me the best of both with doggos who enjoy walking or running, and kitties who like to lounge around for cuddles. If I'm not minding pets, I can be found on reception helping out as a Karmi Yogi or sea swimming before jumping into the sauna.

Newly based in Delgany, Co. Wicklow. Having a car & bike makes getting around to different pets houses very efficient!
